corectl releases

corectl is released from the Core Platform repository . Its independent release series uses corectl/v Git tags, and native macOS and Linux packages are published to ghcr.io/coreeng/corectl.

The Homebrew formula  records the production-promoted version. See the corectl reference for installation, updates, and downloading a specific release.

Unreleased

  • Eligible interactive commands can show a daily notice for new corectl versions. See Updating corectl for behavior and opt-out.
  • Tunnel transport retains its last observed value while idle. Startup samples transport after the handshake, and valid renewals survive timestamp rounding in Portal storage.
  • Managed Kubernetes, Pinniped CI and registry tunnels use a common renewable, credential-capped five-minute maximum lease. Transient control failures preserve existing streams until verified expiry; repeated connect reuses a recovering worker.
  • get tunnels [CLUSTER] provides local inspection during Portal outages, including purpose, observed transport, session age and verbose lease diagnostics.
  • get clusters groups multiple tunnels per cluster. JSON/YAML replaces the scalar tunnel field with tunnels arrays.
  • disconnect --verbose, including registry disconnect, reports available transport statistics without changing structured stdout.
  • Upgrade all managed tunnel components together and recreate existing sessions. See the corectl reference for boundaries and examples.
